IPACC Website Design

The Indigenous Peoples of Africa Co-ordinating Committee (IPACC) is a network made up of over 135 Indigenous peoples’ organizations in 21 African countries. This means that IPACC is the largest indigenous peoples’ organization in the world. They were founded in 1997 and have been doing incredible work all over Africa since.

They have been working closely with indigenous people all over Africa, helping them to fight for their rights, their land, and their heritage.

We have had the privilege of working with them for many years. Learn more about IPACC here.

IPACC wanted a website that embodied their brand and the work they do throughout Africa. The website needed to have information about the regions they work in, an interactive map that detailed where these members are based and a media gallery that exhibited their publications, images and films.

Our strategy was simple; we created an informative website that showcased all the amazing work that IPACC does, with a strong CTA to incentivize people to donate to the causes they’re fighting for.

We used a calming blue as our main colour, to create feeling of trust and expertise. We used motifs throughout the website and a bold font with micro-animations to give movement to the whole website.
